Ping Pong

  • Explain the physical activity you participated in. I participated in the making of the ping pong table today, we as a class had to put together a ping pong table. As a class project we had to put it together from start to finish. The whole class sat around the ping pong table trying to figure out where the parts go.

  • What level of effort and engagement were you participating at during today’s physical activity? Why? (Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria) M- I give my self and Merit because we had a part in the activity when we had to screw these metal plates under the ping pong table. It was a hard job because I was the only one that was able to do it, the only thing was there was no holes made to put them in so i had to make them my self it was hard but I got there in the end.
  • What were three factors which influenced your participation? (Choose from the list below, and put a + or - beside the three factors to show whether it positively or negatively influenced your participation). Challenge- It was a challenge for me because at one stage when we putting it together I had to screw the metal plates to the table so that means I had less time to play. It was the hardest part I found because I was the only one that could do it but its alright cause I still got time to play. Injury/Illness- When I was screwing the metal plates onto the table I cut my finger but it was okay cause at the end of the day we got to play for a whole period. When I got injured I didn't worry about it until the end of the period. Equipment- We had to set up a new ping pong table only thing I didn't like its that we had new equipment but had old paddle so I played less. If we got given all new equipment then it would of been better to play with so I would of played more.
  • Explain HOW these factors affected your participation (with specific examples) These factors affected me because today I had a really good day and had a really good learning experience in class I was really looking forward to lean a game like this again.
These factors affected my participation because I was screwing metal plates to the back of the ping pong table and It took long so I didn't get that much time to play and would of got more time to play if someone helped me and there was more equipment It would of been easier.
          
  • How could you increase your (or your peers) participation in this activity in the future?We didn't really need to change anything in our peers all we need to change next time is not to be cocky towards the other teams and take the win as a win and move on. I could ingress it by making my peers help me next time because it was pretty hard screwing it by my self.

Levers (1,2,3)

1. Explain levers in a sport.
When you play a sport golf and tennis is and good example because it is similar to the third class lever, your shoulder is the fulcrum and your muscles is the effort and gold club is the load.  

2. Explain levers in the activity we did today.
We were given a task to complete and to explain how the First, Second and third class lever are used. Today we were given a paper and we had to draw the levers shapes on the paper, cut them out and place them on the paper to show what they can do. After that we had to explain what the levers are doing and what they represent.

Zumba

  • Explain the physical activity you participated in. I participated in zumba today, we as a class spread out around the classroom and watched a video explain and showing what we had to do for the lesson
  • What level of effort and engagement were you participating at during today’s physical activity? Why? (Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria) A- I give my self and achieve because in this lesson today we had to follow the video on the screen to do zumba,

Well being- My well being is really good because I came school to learn and to get on with the set task given to use by our teacher. Skill level- My skill level today was very good because playing this game with my team we won most of our games and this is a first for me to want to learn in side class and to enjoy our game. Environment- The environment in side the p.e class today was very well set out and the people i our group wanted to participate in our game cause it looked like a really cool game to learn.

Spike Ball

  • Explain the physical activity you participated in. I participated in spike ball today, we got put into teams and gave a place in side the rec with and thing you can throw the ball at it and it comes back to you, when you throw the ball at it the opposite team has to catch it and throw it back against the thing for us to catch and who ever drops the ball the opposite team gets the point.

(Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria) A- I give my self and achieve because in this game I came early to class and was ready to get own with the game and to be focused in the game its not that often you will see me come to school early and to be ready to learn and to be ready in the cloths.

Tyler - Ki_o_Rahi


  • Explain the physical activity you participated in.
I participated in Ki o Rahi today, In the game there is a post or a stump called Tupu if your in Taniwah you have to start in the ring with the ball and passed to the follow players in your team, when you have reached the outta ring of the Tupu you must throw the ball at the Tupu to get points. With the team Kioma you have to touch the Pou with the ball and to score you have to run in the middle towards the Tupu and score to get points.

(Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria)I showed (A) because I came school late and still participated in the activity. When I was told to get changed and to get on task I did it and joined the class in the activity.

(Choose from the list below, and put a + or - beside the three factors to show whether it positively or negatively influenced your participation). Equipment- I came to school with the right equipment and I was late but when told to get chnaged and to join the class with the activity, I did it and didn't answer back. Challenge- It was a challenge for me to come to school early and to make it to my class on time, But in a hurry to get to class I really enjoyed it when I did make for the last 30 min and got to join in with the game. Fitness- In that game it was running non stop with the ball and not trying to get your tag ripped off you, Non stop running is good when your enjoying the game and really looking forward to getting points.

Explain HOW these factors affected your participation (with specific examples) I wanted to learn and wanted to get involved in the game and join class mates with the fun learning experience, Playing this game made me learn what team work is and showed how we need to use our team mates to help us get points.
  4. How could you increase your (or your peers) participation in this activity in the future? My peer and I need to work on getting our listening game on because having the ball we need to open our ears and need to have a look whos around us to share the ball and to get points.

Bench ball



  • Explain the physical activity you participated in. I participated in bench ball today, we as a class have never did this game before but it was a great leaning experience. We had to put this green or yellow band around our body to class what team we were in.
    • What level of effort and engagement were you participating at during today’s physical activity? Why? (Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria) When I was participating in bench ball i think i got a merit.
    • M- I do my best when i come to class because when i come to class i try my best to do my work or when we go to the recenter i come with my uniform and i participate in the sports no matter what.
    • M-I show enjoyment in my work and in sports because when we come to play games i show enthusiastic in all my sports with out getting angry i just continue to play on.
    • M- when we play games i work towards my activity and to my set goals,when these goals are not passed with the way i think it should i work harder on it the next day or the following days ahead.

Friends- What influence me to come to class is my class mates and my friends because coming to class with them make the environment in class a good learning experience
    • Fitness -  I find the fitness in class good because it makes me and my class mates makes us fitter and wants to work more in class with the p.e lessons 
    • Environment- My environment in my p.e class is and fun and good learning. Working in my class makes it fun for me.

      • Friends- Today we played in the same team not only that but we could all work together that helped us and the made our p.e class a fun and awesome day.
      • Fitness -  I find it fun it fun running  around with my friends i hang out with and not only that if u know the people around you its more easy for you to play more. 
      • Environment- I really enjoy my p.e class because its a fun and good learning experience inside class. My friends make me laugh and make me want to enjoy the class even more and that's a good thing.
    • How could you increase your (or your peers) participation in this activity in the future?We didn't really need to change anything in our peers all we need to change next time is not to be cocky towards the other teams and take the win as a win and move on. I can increase my peers participation by always pushing them forward to achieve and to become a better peer and better participation towards the class and towards the teacher. For the future he can become more physical in class and to come with gear to play with our class and achieve.

    In primary we use to blog our work onto blogger and use to write on other people's post and give them feedback on work and how good/bad they did in their work.

    I feel blogging is a good way of experience and to learn many more things about blogger and to find new ways of learning.
